are able to monitor errors as they
are occurring.
• Pre-Changeover Reports.
This allows the operator to view changeovers in advance
and
verify that parts needed are loaded
on feeders and ready ahead of time. Allows for
Kitting ahead of time for reduced
changeovers.
• Automated Changeover
Process. The P.M.D. guides the operators
through the
changeover process, allowing only
the change out of feeders that are required by the
current recipe.
• Part Number Verification
During Feeder Loading. Since the feeder and
the part number
are scanned at the time the feeder
is loaded, the part number is verified against the
recipe to prevent wrong parts.
• Nozzle Size Verification
During Feeder Loading. The nozzle size used
for the current
part number is shown to aid in loading
the correct feeder for the current part.
• Feeder Maintenance
Scheduling. The number of pickups from each
feeder can be
tracked to assist in scheduling feeder
maintenance.
• Recipes can be Imported
or Captured. Recipes can be captured automatically
when
programs are transferred to the Fuji
equipment, or can be imported from another source.
• The P.M.D. database
can be searched from the Operator Controller.
This allows the
search for part locations, feeders,
etc.
• Closed Loop system
for additional verification. Real-Time verification
of feeders during
