Fuji SMD 3 Vision System Setup

This procedure allows the customer to properly adjust the machine to measure nozzle anti-marking
illumination disk brightness level and deviation.

1.	Ensure that the camera prism is clean.
2.	Replace camera high frequency bulbs to do baseline adjustment.
3.	Replace nozzle Anti-marking Illumination disks on all nozzle sizes.

Camera Gain/Offset Level Adjustments:

Using the F keys on the CRT execute the following commands:

1.	(set)
2.	(proper)
3.	enter access code (usually O) followed by the CR key
4.	(camera)
5.	(bright)
6.	(select) use this key until wide view is selected
7.	set wide view camera gain to 0 using the number keys followed by the CR key
8.	set wide view camera offset to 0 using the number keys followed by the CR key
9.	(select) use this key until narrow view is selected
10.	set narrow view camera gain to 0 using the number keys followed by the CR key
11.	set narrow view camera offset to 0 using the number keys followed by the CR key
12.	(return) back to page 0

Nozzle Center Back-light tolerance settings:

Using the F keys on the CRT execute the following commands:

1.	(set)
2.	(manual)
3.	(nozzle)
4.	(center)
5.	(tolerance)
6.	(b_lite standard)
7.	(wide view)
8.	move cursor to tolerance setting/ set tolerance to 75 using the number keys followed by the CR key
9.	move cursor to deviation setting/ set deviation to 10 using the number keys followed by the CR key
10.	(return)
11.	(narrow view)
12.	move cursor to tolerance setting/ set tolerance to 75 using the number keys followed by the CR key
13.	move cursor to deviation setting/ set deviation to 10 using the number keys followed by the CR key
14.	(return) return back to page 0

Nozzle Center Test:

Using the F keys on the CRT execute the following commands:

1.	(set)
2.	(manual)
3.	(nozzle)
4.	(center)
5.	machine start button will flash/ press start button
6.	machine will carry out nozzle center test/ when machine is finished, results for wide view and narrow view cameras will be displayed on the CRT
